The first thing you need to do is to grab the IMEI Number of your phone, The IMEI is similar to a fingerprint, completely unique in your device. When officially revealed, your IMEI is included with an Apple database which often authorizes the device regarding unlocking. These day there are a number of providers that have use of Apple's database and offer you permanent unlocks for a small fee.
The IMEI can be easily identified in the back of the iPhone
by dialing *#06#
in the SIM tray of the iPhone
in the Settings > General > info / about.
